We’re Liv and Ella — best friends, roommates, and food lovers from Los Angeles who turned our shared passion into something bigger: Made By Us, a kosher homemade food service based in Herzliya.

We met in Israel during our Mechina year at Reichman University’s Business School, and from the start, food became a huge part of our friendship. From late-night study sessions to long Shabbat dinners, cooking together quickly became the way we connected, celebrated, and unwound.

It didn’t take long for us to realize that what we loved making for ourselves could also help students and families in Herzliya who wanted meals that were fresh, affordable, and full of heart.

With Liv’s Moroccan roots and Ella’s Yemeni background, we blend bold flavors, home-style comfort, and rich traditions in every dish. Together, we’ve created a balance of creativity and warmth — and we pour that into every menu we make.

Now, as roommates in Herzliya, we’re proud to cook for our community: students, families, and anyone who wants wholesome kosher food without the stress of cooking. Our meals are made fresh, made with love, and made for everyone.
